He talks about humans worrying about every tiny winy thing on earth, be it in the air, water, or soil, and everything around us. The flaw in this whole thing is that we have failed to care for ourselves and the people around us. If we did, wouldn’t the world be in better shape? What with wars being waged between countries, borders being invaded, nuclear threats, cyberattacks—the list is endless.
George C was so right, we worry about trees, bees, whales, and snails. I loved the way he said it and how it sounded and rhymed. Our earth can definitely heal on its own, pick up where it left off, take a whole new shape altogether, and maybe another continental drift someday, a few hundreds or thousands of years from now. Who knows? But like he questioned, will we exist? Well, I won’t be alive to bear testimony to that. The way things are going, I have my doubts.
There’s definitely a ton of work and good things being done to make this planet a better place for us to live. One can't help but fathom the efforts and time invested in many aspects of climate change and the environment at large. All the people who’ve lived and died for honorable causes.
How I wish there were equally important efforts made to not wipe away humans from the face of the earth. We’ve not learned from past mistakes of world war, genocide, partition, et cetera. We continue to exercise power and influence over one another and destroy everything in our path.
While yes, we will be saving our planet, we probably won’t be able to save ourselves when the time comes, sooner or later.
George C satire definitely nailed it all down in one show.

I hope you’ll enjoy listening, just like I did.

George Carlin could sometimes be vulgar and acerbic in his comedic delivery, but his sarcastic wit was prophetic and direct in exposing hypocrisy, greed and ignorance.
