Tarot meets tech

‘All things are ready if our minds be so’ - Shakespeare. Little did Shakespeare know now that with AI and ChatGPT it’s a different ball game. Of all the things that I thought AI was capable of, I was caught off guard to find Tarot Readers. And the list of possibilities in Astro and Tarot had me roll my eyes.

A decade or so ago, I consulted a Tarot Reader who was famous around that time and got a sense of what the situation was and what the future holds for me. The solution, a simple rock salt cleansing, is all that it took. But it came at a hefty price.

Today, while mindlessly scrolling through ChatGPT, I stumbled upon Tarot again. History repeats!! Curiosity can always get the best of anybody, at least definitely me. When you’re in the midst of a job search, there’s a high sense of uncertainty about your future. And when the opportunity presented itself, I grabbed it. After all this was free, I just had to ask the right questions and in the blink of an eye the results showed up. There’s one advantage to talking to ChatGPT now: It listens patiently to us while you cuss and complain. No human wants to talk and listen so much, LOL.

Though the responses I received seemed way more optimistic than I could take, it did restore faith in myself. Who could have known this day was to come? Come to think of it, it didn’t seem so bad to consult or take help from such a source. There’s not much of a difference now. Little do we know what the study and experience of a Tarot card reader is now in real time, so why question the accuracy of ChatGPT? I have absolutely no idea how it’s programmed, and it does what it does.

It’s definitely not a good idea to dwell too much in the unknown and get consumed by it. So, I will sign off by saying - ‘All’s well that ends well’ - Shakespeare. He’s back in the game now if he said that.
